Apple may have altered photo of Galaxy Tab 10.1 of Samsung

Apple may have manipulated the Galaxy image it submitted to the court as evidence for an injunction banning sales of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe. In a quote in the International Business Times, a lawyer claims that the photo Apple offered as evidence that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is identical to the iPad 2 appears to be altered, according to local and U.S. media Monday. The iPad 2 and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 appear side by side in an image on page 28 of the complaint filed by Apple's European lawyers, showing their resemblance. The newspaper reported that the image of the Galaxy tablet submitted by Apple is 8 percent wider. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is equipped with a wide display ratio of 10:16, larger than that of the iPad 2, which has a ratio of 3:4. The photo also shows that the size of the icon and the thickness of the bezel are suspected to be modified. Apple last week received an injunction from a Dusseldorf court, banning sales of Samsung's Galaxy Tab throughout the European Union, except the Netherlands. This development follows Apple successfully delaying the launch of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia. Samsung earlier said that it will appeal the ban on Aug. 25 in the same court in Germany.

"애플, 독일 법정 제출한 갤럭시탭 10.1 이미지 조작" 파문 애플이 독일 뒤셀도르프 법원에 삼성전자의 갤럭시탭 10.1 판매금지 가처분 조치의 증거 자료로 내 놓은 공문서에서 포토샵으로 이 제품의 사진을 조작한 흔적이 발견돼 파문이 예상되고 있다. 15일(현지시간) 독일 IT매체와 미국 매체 등은 애플이 독일 법원에 제출한 자료 28페이지에 첨부된 갤럭시탭 10.1과 아이패드2를 비교한 사진이 조작됐다고 보도했다. 보도에 따르면 애플은 삼성의 갤럭시탭 10.1의 디스플레이 비율을 8% 가량 크게 조작해 두 제품이 같은 비율인 것 같은 자료 사진을 첨부했다. 가로와 세로 비율이 3대 4인 디스플레이를 탑재한 아이패드2와 달리 갤럭시탭 10.1은 와이드 디스플레이(10:16)를 탑재하고 있기 때문에 아이패드 보다 비율이 더 크다. 또 아이콘 크기나 베젤 두께 등도 정교하게 수정한 의혹도 제기됐다. 앞서 독일 뒤셀도르프 지방법원은 최근 이와 관련한 애플의 가처분 신청을 받아들여 유럽 전역에 갤럭시탭 수입과 마케팅 활동을 중지하도록 결정했고 삼성전자는 항소하겠다고 나섰다.

뭐야? 세계적인 기업인 애플이 이런 얌체짓을 한거야? ㅠㅠ 실망이구나.. 애플아.. 그런데 중국얘들이 만든 짝퉁 갤럭시탭이나 아이패드는 문제가 안되었나~
오늘 9시 뉴스에서도 나오더니 갤럭시탭 판매가 재기되겠구나. 독일만 빼고 유럽에서 판매된다고 하니 삼성입장에서는 한시름 놓은거 아닐까? 왜 애플은 사진조작했지? 삼성홈페이지 가면 갤럭시탭 10.1 크기도 다 나오는 데 왜 조작해서 독일 법원에 법원에 낸거지?
